Testimonials Received at Puppy Shop:
We love to hear how things are going for our adopted puppies. Here are some testimonials from some of our little friends' new parents:
We stop by every time that we are at the farm in Smithfield. We purchased our Jack Russell terrier "Lady Lexington" ("Lexi") when she was 6 weeks old to replace our two J.R. Terriers (17.5 year and 15.5 years old) that we missed dearly. Although, they can never be replaced, Lexi has won our hearts. She is now almost 6 months and she is a true Jack Russell with the amount of energy that she has compared to her best buddy, our 8 year old basset hound. She is simply wonderful. Enclosed is a picture of our beautiful Lexi. For anyone thinking about obtaining a puppy, I refer them to you. Who knows we might add another puppy to our family soon. Thanks again for our Lexi. Hi, Cyndi! Just wanted to let you know everything is going well with 'Chloe'. She is so lovable, huggable, and a complete joy. After we picked her up at your shop on Friday, we came home and put down a puppy pad and she went potty immediately. We are feeding her according to your directions and she is thriving wonderfully. She hasn't had a single accident, as we are sure to put her on the puppy pad after she gets out of her crate, and before going back in. Thank you for our puppy. At your shop, your daughter was especially helpful when we were trying to make a decision on which puppy to take home with us, please thank her for us. All of your puppies were in such good health, and thriving, happily playing with each other. I would recommend The Puppy Shop to anyone who is looking for a puppy, and you have soooo many different breeds! You can tell that you, and your family, enjoy your work. It's nice doing business with people who are honest, and truly care about the well being of their pups. Thank you again, for our beautiful yorkie, Chloe! GOOD MORNING CYNDI- I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU SHE IS ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL. SHE IS SO ADORABLE. VERY PLAYFUL AS YOU SAID. SHE ATE AND DRANK FROM MY HAND LAST NIGHT IN THE CAR ON THE WAY HOME. WENT POTTY ON THE PAPER FIRST THING WHEN WE GOT HOME, ON HER OWN. I JUST PUT IT DOWN AND SHE WENT TO IT RIGHT AWAY. SHE DID WELL LAST NIGHT. A LITTLE BIT OF WHINING, BUT THAT WAS TO BE EXPECTED, BEING HER FIRST NIGHT BY HERSELF. IF SHE HAD HER WAY SHE WOULD HAVE SLEPT ON MY CHEST ALL NIGHT. HER FLIGHT CAME IN EARLY. WE WERE THERE FOR HER. WE GOT ABOUT A FOOT OF SNOW YESTERDAY WHERE WE LIVE. AT THE AIRPORT THERE WAS NOTHING. IN ALL, OUR TRIP TOOK ABOUT 5 HOURS TO GET THERE AND BACK, WITH THE WEATHER. ALL IS GOOD AND SHE IS IN HER NEW HOME SAFE AND SOUND. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MY DAUGHTER SEES HER. AS OF THIS TIME SHE STILL HAS NOT. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! JODI posted on December 17, 2007
Cyndi, We feel so very lucky to have Buz. He is just awesome! His trip home went well and was very well received by my teenage daughter and my husband. Buzzy's markings are much like Papi's. Papi had a bit of brindle in him when the sun shone on his fur. Buz does indeed have his own special character and is just so curious and fun loving. We just love him. He did great last night. He had fun exploring the house and slept well in his kennel/crate. My youngest daughter (1st grade) was asked to bring in something that she is thankful for. She was going to bring in Papi. It made things much easier to be able to bring in her new puppy. He did so well in the class with all of the kids. He is such a joy! Thank you again, Cyndi. Just wanted to let you know that Gizmo (formerly known as Tinker) is doing great! He is the cutest puppy on the planet, and is spoiled rotten! We brought him to visit you last Sunday, but you weren't open yet. We bought him for our 17 year old son, and he gets lots of attention from all his friends. He even got to spend the night at a girls' slumber party while we were out of town, where he got a bath and got his toenails painted red and white for the Husker game! We take him to Petco every time we go to Lincoln, where we buy him lots of cute little outfits. I have a Daycare, so it's a big treat when they get to sit in a circle and hold him and play with him. The kids know they have to be quiet and gentle when Gizmo's around. We'll stop in to see you sometime. Thank you! Ross, Traci, and Jake Woodside - Holdrege posted on October 12, 2007
I was just going to send you an e-mail to let you know the little chihuahua puppy we bought three weeks ago from you is doing great!! She is the best puppy we all just love her we named her Gidget. If we ever need to board her we will give you a call. Thanks so much. Beth Scharff posted on October 2, 2007

Hi Cyndi, I got Lily's papers today, thanks for getting them to us so fast. We just Love Lily, she is very smart and loving, she loves to eat and she hates to be alone, she wants to be held all the time, thank you for such a great dog. Not only is she smart but she is a very put together poodle. We get alot of comments on what a nice poodle she is. I tell them where we got her and how happy we are. Thanks again Cyndi - Dana posted on September 7, 2007
Hi Cindy, It will be one year at the end of this month that I have had Baci (formerly Lambchop) I renamed him Baci (kisses in Italian) and it fits him so well because he gives so many kisses and fills my heart with more love than I can even describe. I want to thank you so much for him. He is my baby and I love him so much. He has changed my life, and I feel blessed to have found your site. Here is a new picture of him along with his original picture from your web site. I am sure you remember him. He has a little sister named Bella (they are exactly one month apart). She is now bigger than him (9 lbs and 19 lbs)! They love each other very much and are best friends. Thank you again. Tara posted on September 5, 2007
Hi Cyndi, We purchased Fozzy (renamed Tucker) from you in January of this year. I wanted to send you recent pictures of the boys and Tucker. Thank you for such a wonderful first experience of being a dog owner. You recommended the perfect puppy for us. Tucker is such a great addition to our family. He has such a fun personality. He loves to play and run around. His best friends are a Lab, a Goldendoodle, and a Standard Poodle. All of which are much bigger than he is. He doesn't care. He has a blast with them. He's very fun to watch. I have passed your name and web site on to many friends and neighbors. Thanks again for making our puppy purchase such a great experience. Cindi, Here is Izzy our Sihi-poo that is almost 3 years old. He is the most wonderful, spoiled rotten dog anyone could ever have. My grandchildren can't wait to get in the door to see him. The grandkids come and he is in heaven playing with them and cannot wait to wake them up in the mornings when they are here. Again, wanted to tell you what a wonderful dog you sent on the plane to us in Texas. He was so well socialized when we got him almost three years ago and he does so well with everyone and everything that goes on around him. People always want to know what kind of dog he is and where I got him. He is a bit of a bed hog sometime but that is O.K. too. Thanks again for such a wonderful dog. He will be 3 years old on July 24. posted on July 10, 2007
Cyndi Well he is here!!! We arrived at the airport about 45 minutes early when someone finally got the the desk for United I asked where he should be picked up. They said cargo but she could not get a hold of cargo so the man she spoke with said he would bring him to the baggage claim for me. So I waited and waited and finally at around 11:30 I got him. He is soooooooooooo beautiful. He is in a 2x3 foot box under my desk sleep as I write this. We just love him. We got home around 1 am and I fed him he was starving and took him out and he pooped and we went to bed. He slept in his carrier in my bedroom. I lost him for a few minutes this am in the kitchen and he does not make any noise so I had to turn Lady loose to find him for me. I called Peanut where did you get to, He was under the stools and I could not find him. Lady went right to him and he pounced on her face. He is not worried by her size at all. It is really funny to see the 92 pound German Shephard trying to play with him. The cat gives him a wide berth. I think Peanut is going to be his name. He is such a Peanut. He has played tug of war with one of the girls here at work. There are many baby toys that appeared on my desk for him. He is spoiled already. Does he bark? He has not made a peep yet. Lady has barked at him but no verbal response from him. He just sits down and stares at her when she barks. Thank you so much for all you have done. Just know he will be greatly loved. I will send pictures and updates as he grows. thanks again Coke Forbes posted on April 10, 2007
Hi Cyndi, We got the puppy around midnight last night. There was a couple of delays. She is adorable, and she does like to cuddle. She is doing great. And she is so adorable. Haley isn't sure about her right now, but I am sure she will get used to her. She slept through the night, and ate well this morning. Thank you so much, we love her and she is even cuter than her pictures. Thank you again for everything. Take care Colleen posted on March 27, 2007
Cyndi, Well, little Pepper made it safe to Albuquerque!! My daughter wouldn't stop screaming when she saw her! She is soooo cute, and was very quiet in the car. We just got home and she started playing and rolling over with us and our schnauzer right away. She seems very sweet and happy. She was adorable in the pictures. She's even cuter in person! She likes to cuddle in my daughter's hair. We just love her and are so happy to get her. Thank you for everything. Promise to keep in touch. Trisha posted on Feb. 7, 2007
Hi Cyndi, Sorry I haven't written, it's busy with our two new babies. They are so cute and so worth the getting up in the night with them. Cuddles will not leave my side. She plays and plays with Rudy, but he gets a little too rough with her. She loves to be held. Rudy is so funny. He growls when he plays and just loves to play tug-a-war. We are having so much fun. We took them to Petsmart and had their picture with Santa in their new clothes we bought them. We bought them jackets and shirts. The girls think this is the best. Leslie
Hi Cindy: I just wanted to let you know that we got the puppy as expected and she is the most beautiful puppy we have ever seen. Even better than in the pics!! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We are excited to have her in our home and look forward to her being in our lives. Once again thank you for our beautiful gift. Lauren posted on December 8, 2006

Cyndi, thank you so much. The puppy is absolutely adorable! All the women in my office have fallen in love with him. He has been running around for a few hours. He's not very noisy. A little whine here and there. Anyway, thank you again for helping me.
Cyndi, we got Cole home around 8 p.m. The children adore him and he hasn't left their side yet. He's a beautiful puppy! Thanks for everything! Julie posted on October 27, 2006
Cyndi, WE are in LOVE! Layla is beautiful, playful, and loves to kiss! Delta called this afternoon with good news - she caught an earlier flight out of Atlanta, so I was able to pick her up sooner than anticipated. The Delta was calling from the cargo area and had Layla with him. He let her out of kennel, gave her fresh water, and played with her. He told me it was the BEST part of his day. Layla and I had an hours ride from Hartford to home, we "talked" and most of the way back. My daughter and husband were waiting outside when Layla and I pulled up. IMMEDIATELY my daughter and Layla became the best of friends. So far, Layla has pooped twice and peed twice OUTSIDE in her "bathroom" area. I will be extremely diligent with keeping a watchful eye on her and getting her out OFTEN. I can already tell she has a delightful personality and will be a loving member of our family. Thank you, Cyndi, for everything. I will send along pictures often. Dana posted on September 22, 2006
Cyndi, What kind of shampoo did you use on Ivy that made her hair so shiney? Things are going fairly well. She has only had 2 accidents, and one of those was this morning when Spike thought Ivy could wait a few minutes before he took her out. WRONG!!! She has been going potty outside even though I did put the pad down in her crate last night-just in case. We got her little fence put up and she sure thinks she's hot running around in there. She has already made us laugh at her cute antics, and she's just been a little joy. Thanks, CR & Spike posted on September 19, 2006
Hi Cyndi, I hope you got my phone message. "Rooty Too" is here safe and sound. My husband and I are absolutely in love with him. He had a big day. I had a bit of trouble initially finding the freight area at the airport. Once I went into the office there was no one around at first. I was greeted instead by a friendly fuzzy (and beautiful) face staring out at me from his crate. He immediately came up to the door as if to say "Where have you been? My plane landed AGES ago!" He was completely calm and alert and ready to go. Our first stop was a fancy-schmancy pet store in Tucson called "Muttropolis." There he got treats and toys and a bright red tiny new leash & collar (good color on him). He also got cooed and loved over by all the staff and everyone who walked in the door. He's most definitely NOT shy. He went right up to everyone, especially kids. He gives little kisses on the nose too! Next stop was PetCo for some basics: food, carrying tote, etc. All the drive home he alternated between eating, sleeping and romping and chewing on a stuffed dachshund toy he picked out at Muttropolis. Once here in Bisbee he was introduced all around, both to two-legged and four-legged folk. Rave reviews from all. (Our cat Roscoe already told him who's boss, but he'll warm up to him soon for sure. Our previous dog and Roscoe were best buds). After a serious frolic in the park, Rooty Too is now sacked out cold on my desk while I type this. Thank you so much for this little joy. I had no idea how things would turn out ordering a puppy almost sight unseen from online. But he has already exceeded our best expectations. God Bless, Tamara and Michael posted on September 14, 2006
Hi Cyndi, Just wanted to let you know that we are home and I think Lola is very happy! Thank you again for everything. I am already recommending you to everyone that says they want a dog!! Lola is such an amazing little puppy. We have had a hard first week potty training, but it's all worth it. She is so loving! And she has already made many dog friends in the neighborhood. Well, I just wanted to thank you so much and let you know Lola is doing well. Take care, Krisy posted on September 11, 2006

Hi! Just wanted to let you know Belle got here safe and sound. We picked her up from the airport this morning and she couldn't wait to get out of her carrier!! She played the whole way home in the car and then took a long nap. She's doing great and we all already love her! posted on August 31, 2006

Cyndi, Subject: Spoiled Zoe I forgot to tell you how spoiled she is already. For house breaking reasons I have been crating her at night and when I leave the house to go somewhere. After the first two nights and not getting enough sleep I got the idea to put one of my shirts that has not been washed (so it smells like me) in the crate with her. Now I get none at all or very little whining when she goes in the crate. I do not feed her table scraps. I want to eat my meal in peace and therefore don't even get that started. I have no children and my husband is deceased. My brother lives with me but he is a commercial fisherman and is gone a lot. So I appreciate that Zoe always wants to be right next to me - a CKC Spaniel trait. The thing is - I need to get stuff done. So I either lay down with her on my bed until she goes to sleep or . . . I have two fleece sweaters and a sweatshirt with hoods. So I wear one of those and put her in the hood. I got this idea because she loves to lay behind my neck when I am watching TV. It works perfect. She is content to be with me and goes riight to sleep. I just thought you would like to know how well we have bonded. Sharon Bishop posted on March 30, 2006
Dear Cyndi, I got Tootsie from you last fall, meeting you in Seward. She is the Shihtzu-poo, and I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful little friend she is. She is training to be a therapy dog. It is an intense program which when certified will allow she and I to visit hospital, nursing home, & shut-in patients. She is also going to be a certified "read" dog. She will go to schools, libraries, etc. helping children who have difficulties with reading to practice. Tootsie is so loving; people are just drawn to her...part of her training is visiting very busy places such as the home show, the mall, and Menards. I can't say the number of people who "run" up to her and just love her! She is also a very beautiful dog. Thank you so much for allowing her to be in my family! She has an excellent temperament, beautiful markings, and a great disposition. I will send you a picture of her, when she receives her certification, as she will have a dog vest stating that she is a therapy dog and people should "pet" her. I thought you might be interested to know this. Mickie Bolduan, Battle Creek, NE posted on March 28, 2006
I am absolutely thrilled with her. I don't know that I told you my brother & his family have a 1-1/2 year old half Cavalier, half Papillion (male). He is just the greatest dog for my niece & nephew. I visit them often and that is what I decided I wanted - half Cavalier & half whatever. After going thru the hundreds of choices at www.puppyfind.com I narrowed it down to four. Then I went to the library and looked up the particulars on the other halves and decided toy poodle was what I wanted. When I opened the cage she stayed in the back for about 5 seconds. Then she came towards my hand and her tail started wagging. She shook for about 10 minutes. I am surprised that she doesn't seem to be afraid of things. I expected a puppy this young to be skittish. She seems to be just as happy with me as I am with her. I don't know yet what I am going to name her. I have made a list of some names, but I want to get a sense of her personality before I decide on one. When I got home I let her loose in the yard to go to the bathroom. After she went I praised her a lot. Thanks for the wonderful new friend. -- Sharon Bishop posted on February 16, 2006
Hi! She's here! And more adorable than I imagined... She was clean and very brave, she was a little shy at first but as soon as I picked her up she adapted pretty well. She's so tiny and brave for coming all that way! Yes you told me about the cottage cheese and soft food. I fed her as soon as we got home, and gave her water at the airport. Her flight got delayed about 2 hours. We got home around 12:30, but she was well worth it...on the way home we stopped into a gas station and the clerk didn't want me too leave, he was in love with her. I guess I'd better get used to that! I am naming her Millie...Thank you so much for the business, at first I wasn't too sure about getting an animal over the internet due to all the fraudulent people, so thank you for your honesty it is much appreciated! If I have any questions, since this is my first puppy, I will ask you! Thank you again! -Stephanie, Joseph, and Millie posted on February 2, 2006
Cyndi, Hi how are you doing? It's me Cynthia, I don't know if you remember me. You sold me a lemon male Shitzu-poo. Well, we named him Gizmo. He is a wonderful puppy. Hey Cyndi, I just wanted to let you know that everything is going great! I decided to name him Hoggan, and everybody can't believe how small he is. He has been on many little shopping trips, to Home Depot, Wal-mart, and the bank. The litter training is going great and he's becoming a lot more active, especially in the morning! Well I hope everything is good with you and I will keep you updated on his progress. Thanks again, Jesika posted on November 22, 2005
Hello. I am not sure if you will remember me but I bought a Saint Bernard puppy named "DUDE" from you about 9 months ago. He is wonderful and even after all our misgivings I appreciate Dude every day. I now am trying to register him through the American Kennel Club and start working with the many different kinds of things available through the club. I will need you to fill out some information regarding his information from the time you had him, but I will be responsible for all fees regarding his registration. I would really appreciate your help in this. Dude is a wonderful dog and shows potential for the show ring and agility. Thank you so very much for the chance to do this. posted on October 20, 2005
Cyndi, She is a wonderful and happy baby and she is adjusting very well. She's learning to use training pads. The first night she was very interested in the grocery bags; she kept trying to climb into them which of course everyone thought was very cute. She is the first one my son and daughter look for in the morning and the last one they kiss at night. We are feeding her science diet puppy food and some puppy milk. She sleeps in bed with me at night and has her own pillow and is already very spoiled. I'm glad you e-mailed and please e-mail any time you want to. I'm always glad to hear from you. Next time I will have many more things to tell you about how perfect she is. Kay posted on October 03, 2005
Cyndi, We made it home and her first evening/ night (so far) have been good....smart little girl....went potty right away outside; 4 different times....she is a fancy little prancer too, isn't she! Cyndi, I just wanted to send you a recent picture of Izzy, our Shipoo. The grand kids just love him and he is crazy about them. He is worn out after they have been here but look for them as soon as they are gone. My husband and I have really enjoyed this dog since the moment we picked him up at the airport last September. He has such a great temperament. I tell everyone where he came from. Everyone that sees him wants to know where I got him and what he is. Thanks so much for such a wonderful dog. He moved right from his kennel after about 6 weeks to our bed at night. He does bark at everything he hears. If you have any good tips on stopping that please let me know. - Janice, TX posted on August 1, 2005

Hi Cindi- We are home with Hershey. We are in love!!!! He is such a sweet puppy with a great personality. He has not stopped following our 4 year old around since we let him out of the cage. She absolutely adores him and I think the feeling is mutual!!! Thanks so much for everything. Rebecca
Hi! Tico is doing super and we are really having fun with her. I have been pretty busy as I had forgotten how much is involved with taking care of a puppy! As I write this she is asleep on my lap. She is really a sweetheart and so funny sometimes! Doing pretty good on potty training. I think having our dachshund helps as I usually put them out together. I am really happy with her! My dachshund is jealous but I give her lots of extra attention and she is getting used to her now. I was wondering if she has been wormed? I didn't see it on the vet record so thought I would ask. And how often do you recommend worming for a puppy? Well, she is starting to get squirmy so it's time to go out! :) Janis
Dear Puppyshop, Hi I bought a Pekepom in the end of August and had it sent to my brother in New Haven as a 60th Birthday gift. My brother has always been a Yorkie person and probably took better care of his yorkies than he did his own kids. He has grieved his yorkie that died at age 15 in his arms for the past two years. The pekepom you sent transformed his life, and the lives of his whole family. I don't know if he has contacted you, but all I hear are raves about the dog named Lex, and what a great job you did caring for the puppy before he was sent, and the actual shipping. My brother is not big on church, but I am and after a long time of looking for a dog for him and much prayer, I know that choosing Lex from you was by divine intervention. I looked on your site again because we are planning to send my mother-in-law a dog to love for Christmas. She too fell in love with our Pekingese when we visited in the Spring, and she too has grieved the loss of her beloved collie for about two years. I was thinking maybe you would have a new litter of Peke-poms before Christmas, but was so happy to see that it looks as if the same litter that Lex came from still has puppies available. I wrote this big long e-mail to both inquire about available Peke-poms, but also to let you know, if my brother Ray has not, that he and I are both very impressed with Lex and your professional way of raising him and sending him off. Lex is very, very loved and appreciated. Please let me know of availability for my mother-in-law. Since Lex's litter looks to be available, it would be an early gift so that it is not in the Christmas confusion. As with my brother's gift, my mother-in-law will be in full knowledge and agreement of the gift to come. Thanks, Karlene Deware
Cyndi... Not sure if you remember me, but I purchased a male Shi-Poo puppy from you in May....shipped to Atlanta. He is 6 months old now, and I wanted to let you know how happy I am with "Bubba". He has greatly enriched my life, and is such a sweet loving dog. It was very evident form the first moment we met, that you had taken loving care with him. He came out and snuggled right up to me and gave me kisses. He is a very social animal, and loves to have his belly rubbed. I might be considering a brother or sister for Bubba in the future, and if I do I will be sure to contact you. I have highly recommended you to folks in my office, and people who have admired Bubba on the street. I will check your website occasionally and keep an eye out for the right dog. Thanks again for being such a wonderful breeder. Attached is a recent photo of Bubba, so you can see how handsome he is! Carol Motola
Hello! Just wanted to pass along some of Baley's newest pictures...I love him so much thank you so much for my little bundle of joy! Sarah :)
